Who we are

Sustii Group is an executive search practice built for a market in transition. We place the senior leaders who are helping organisations navigate energy transition, climate risk and sustainable finance: roles that sit at the intersection of regulation, capital and operational reality.

Our clients range from established corporates managing cross-border reporting requirements to private equity-backed platforms scaling energy and infrastructure assets under real investor scrutiny. What connects them is the same challenge: finding leadership that combines technical depth, commercial judgement and the credibility to deliver against rising expectations from regulators, investors and boards.

We work across Europe, the US and the UK, with a network built through years of specialist search in this space, reaching the leaders who aren't actively looking, and who rarely respond to a generic approach.

A point of view

Four things we believe.

We are a specialist practice, not a generalist with a sustainability page. These convictions shape every piece of work we take on.

01

Sustainability leadership is now a commercial role.

The strategy is agreed and the capital is attached. The job is delivery against numbers that investors read, and the brief should say so before the search begins.

02

Disclosure has moved to the audit committee.

CSRD and ISSB turned narrative into assured numbers. The scarce person is the one who can own the number and defend it, not the one who can describe the framework.

03

Platforms that exit well hire for year four in year one.

Buy-and-build runs out of operating leadership before it runs out of capital. The investors who avoid that start conversations before there is a role to offer.

04

The best people are not on the market.

They are mid-cycle in demanding roles and ignore generic approaches. A specific one, from someone who understands what they are carrying, usually lands.

The numbers that set the agenda

Four figures the next decade answers to.

Not our numbers. The ones every board, fund and regulator we work with is now measured against.

1.5°CParis AgreementThe warming limit the world agreed to pursue in 2015. Every target below flows from it.
2030The near horizonEU emissions down at least 55% and the UK's down 68% against 1990. Five reporting cycles away.
2024Disclosure gets auditedISSB standards take effect and CSRD's first wave starts reporting. Sustainability becomes a signed number.
2050Net zeroWritten into UK law and the EU Climate Law. The careers of the leaders we place will run the whole distance.

When a hiregenuinely matters.

The transition to a lower-carbon, more resilient economy isn't a side project for the businesses we work with. It's core strategy. We believe the leaders who deliver it deserve the same rigour, discretion and commercial focus as any other senior executive search.

Our vision is to be the search partner organisations turn to when a hire genuinely matters: when the wrong appointment costs momentum, investor confidence or competitive position, and the right one accelerates all three. We're building that reputation deliberately: fewer, better-placed searches, at the level where our work has the most impact.

Values

Five words we hold ourselves to.

01

Transparency

Honest about the market, the search and the odds.

02

Innovation

New sectors need new ways of finding people.

03

Community

A network built on relationships, not databases.

04

Inclusive

Different leadership, deliberately sought.

05

Quality

Fewer searches, done properly.

Reach

Three markets, one network.

Headquartered in London, working wherever our clients are. Most of our searches now cross a border, and many cross an ocean.
